Day 4 (x2) of the Couch to 5K Challenge:
I did a 5 minute warm-up at 3.5MPH. Then I alternated jogging at 5.1/5.2MPH for 90 seconds and walking at 3.3MPH for 2 minutes for a total of 20 minutes.
Distance: I think it was 1.76 - I deleted my stats on accident before I could write them down
Time: 25 minutes
Yes, I had a long week last week and yes, I skipped Wednesday and Friday work outs. Sue me. I'm not going to make excuses, I'm just going to re-do last week's schedule and keep moving.
It's funny how a little visit from Aunt Flo, some life-changing medical news, 3 days with an infant (which I love, but can make for a long day - moms are incredible), and a rigorous service project can really drain a person. But when I get to the gym, I am so happy to be there and feel so much better when I leave! I just needed to write that down so that I can look back and remind myself from time to time.
I hope everyone is having a rockin' Monday!

253.8 (+.9)
I'm just going to blame this number on Aunt Flo and keep on truckin'. Next week will be better. :)

Good news: I get fuller faster, and I am getting a whole lot better at recognizing my body's cues. I even left about 3/4 cup of rice on my plate at lunch - had it been a year ago, I would have just eaten it because it was such a small amount and I wouldn't have wanted to waste it. I'm realizing that throwing it away is much better for me and I don't need to finish everything on my plate!
Also, I bought a pair of jeans when I was in San Antonio in July. They are loose now! Yay!
Today is day 4 of the C25K. Kicking it up another notch today - we'll see how it goes!
